Bahrain ranked as most free economy in the MENA region
Bahrain has been ranked as one of the most free economies in the world.
It was given the ranking as the 13th freest economy in the world, and the freest economy in the Middle East and North Africa region, as published by the Heritage Foundation and Wall Street Journal.
The Fitch Ratings confirmed Bahrain’s long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings (IDRs) at ‘A’ and ‘A+’ respectively. Alsi, the Standard & Poor also re-affirmed the Kingdom’s credit rating at A, with a stable outlook.
