REEF confirms sponsorship of GRE Conference 2009
Real Estate Finance Company (Reef) will sponsor the Second Annual Gulf Real Estate Fundamentals Conference 2009 (GRE Conference 2009), the only international real estate conference, a meeting that focuses on the particular requirements of property market of a fast growing economy.
The Chief Executive Officer, Mahmood Al Koofi, said that Reef has placed real estate finance and associated activities among the top areas of focus on its development plans.
According to Reef, the conference is an event of strategic importance and complements the broad initiative to support property sector in Bahrain.
The Chief Executive M A Sridhar, said “We are pleased to announce that Reef has shown leadership by deciding to support the Conference. One of the major objectives of this yearly event is to promote awareness and knowledge and best practices of Real Estate and related sectors. Real estate still contributes significantly to the country’s GDP.”
During such tough economic conditions, it is important to remove any unfounded speculation and clear the mist surrounding growth potential of the sector. In this aspect, the major role played by Reef in the Kingdom, to develop real estate and mortgage sectors, have to be accepted, he said, and thanked Reef for their continued support.
